Union with Christ

Dear Ones:

Francis Ridley Havergal wrote in the sixth stanza of the hymn “Jesus, Thy Life is Mine“:

“Jesus, my life is Thine,
And evermore shalt be,
Hidden in Thee,
For nothing can untwine,
Thy life from mine.”

Let us today, by faith, lay hold of the wonderful truth of our inseparable union with Christ. (Colossians 1:27; Ephesians 2:5-6) The Apostle Paul said, “For me to live IS Christ, and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21)  Paul lived in the reality of his union with Christ. Continue reading

Christ, The Power Of The Resurrection

Dear Ones:

God’s Ways…

Dear Ones:

In Psalm 77, we find the psalmist declaring, “…Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?”  When Jesus answered Satan at one point of being tempted, He declared, “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.”  The primary theme here is the same, the worship of God is not only the first thing, it is the most Continue reading
